Asia-Pacific's premier tennis tournament is returning to Melbourne Park from 14 to 27 January 2019 for another two weeks of world-class events and entertainment. Next year's tournament is expected to break all previous attendance records, attracting passionate tennis fans from all over the region and further afield.

DeRUCCI was chosen based on the quality of its designer furniture range and for its extensive global reach, with stores in 20 countries including a number of Asian territories. China and other Asian markets are increasingly important for the Australian Open, with this year's events seeing a 38% increase in Chinese attendees and a 20% increase from Asia overall.
What to expect in 2019
2019 is promising to be another record-breaking year for international tennis, and the Australian Open will kick things off in style. The top 100 men and top 100 women tennis stars will take to Melbourne's iconic blue courts to compete in the year's first Grand Slam titles.
Confirmed for 2019 are reigning champion Roger Federer – who won his 20th Grand Slam in Melbourne back in January – as well as the legendary Serena Williams, Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Naomi Osaka and Australia's own Ash Barty, among other established and rising stars.
Tickets are now available on the official Australian Open website, with early bird pricing discounts until Friday 30 November 2018. A record 743,667 fans attended last January's events, and with a packed schedule of events including Kids Tennis Day and live music, 2019 looks set to be even bigger.
